Basia Bressickello Macular Degeneration for about 4 years

I have had macular degeneration for about 4 years. In my right eye I have dry macular degeneration and a small cataract. In my left eye I have wet or leaky macular degeneration and a humungous cataract. Two years ago when my husband developed heart disease was when my left eye took a turn for the worse and became leaky.

I have had two kinds of shots in my eyes, 7 shots all together. First my doctor injected Macugen with little or no success. When Avastin came out as a treatment for colon cancer, a side benefit was that it helped dry up leaky macular degeneration. I had some injections of this drug with better success but it helped only up to a certain point. Then it stopped helping. My last injection was in May 2006. A new drug came out and my doctor said to wait till the insurance would pay for it. He didn't want to give me more shots at that time because of the scarring caused by the injection. The insurance companies refused to pay for the Lucentis injections which cost $2000.
Also my doctor wouldn't operate on my cataracts because of my leaky macular degeneration.

In the mean time my friend Dottie introduced me to Nancy Jang who explained that negative ion clothes would help with my Macular Degeneration. I decided to get a blanket and sleep hat and eye mask. That was in October. In the beginning of December I went to my doctor and he said that my eyes were dried up. He told me to do whatever I was doing to help myself because it was working remarkably. Bea’s Story

I went to China and when I came back my left foot hurt badly. I am a nurse. I went to my doctor and he said I had Neuroma. He gave me a shot of steroids to stop the pain but it didn’t help. I waited two weeks because I thought it might take time for the shot to work. My feet swelled up so bad I couldn’t put on my shoes.

When my friend Nancy found out about my pain she told me to try negative ion sox. I talked to another podiatrist and he said my arch was not right. So I got an orthotic. The pain did not go away.

I never heard of negative ion clothes before. I told my friend Patricia that I sprained my wrist. Patricia said she thought it was broken. I am 76 years old. In 2005 I started noticing that I could no longer read car license plates. My vision was so blurry I couldn’t read books at night. I thought I needed new glasses so In June I went to the eye doctor for a check up. He said I had dry Macular Degeneration. He told me that glasses wouldn’t help me. He suggested that I could take occuvite vitamins to slow the progress of the disease.

My friend Nancy suggested I wear negative ion clothes to help with my Macular Degeneration. Three weeks after I started wearing negative ion clothes my vision wasn’t blurry any more. Now I can read license plates and I can read books at night.

When I went for another check up at the eye doctor and the nurse made a comment: “Oh, your eyes have improved!” In June of 2005 my eyes tested as: Right 20-70, Left 20-30. I had been taking medication for my high blood pressure for 15 years. I love to dance. I used to go dancing for 2 hours in the evening. The next morning when I tried to get up my hip hurt so bad I didn’t want to get out of bed. Now I have a lot of energy. Now I have no more pain after dancing. I go dancing 3 times a week.

I used to have a little tumor on my leg. It was not harmful, just annoying. It disappeared in 2 or 3 months time. I have another one the size of a pea above my knee which is slowly dissipating. The one on my cheek is going away too.

I wear the Nefful clothes faithfully. I wear Eskimode clothes each morning from when I get up at 6:00 AM. During my daughter’s delivery her brain did not get enough oxygen. Her right and left brain hemorrhaged. The doctor assessed cerebral palsy. This was followed by all extremity handicaps. We relied on rehab to help her.

I am a registered nurse. I used to hike and dance even thought I had pain in my knees. I always thought these activities caused pain. I love to live naturally without medication and I thought pain was the price I had to pay to be active.

In 1999 I fell because of uneven ground and I injured my neck and my shoulder. The constant and severe pain was unbearable and it caused insomnia and depression. It caused the end of my 35 years career in the medical profession. I refused the epidural injections and surgery which my orthopedic doctor suggested.
